Luis Montealegre studied Film Production and direction in CFP SICA, UBA y Raúl Perrone workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He produced the short film ¨Arre Caballo¨ (Scholarship of regional co-production MinCultura), The documentaries ¨García Márquez, his years of loneliness¨ and ¨The intensity¨. Co-produced the documentary series ¨Gabo's world¨ (Canal Capital TV). La insurrección de las hormigas and Inxilio, el sendero de lágrimas (Señal Colombia TV). Director´s assistant in ¨Memorias del calavero¨ (film), ¨Tierra de Cantores¨ (Serie, Caracol TV) and ¨Tres mIlagros¨ (Serie, Teleset-Sony). He produced Spots and TV. Nowadays he develops the fiction movies ¨The reporter, secrets of serious news¨ (Black Comedy Politics based on an anecdote by Gabriel García Márquez) and ¨Beastly Rhythm¨ (black comedy based on three stories of the rhythm of salsa in Bogotá).
